The Turquoise Table Finding Community and Connection In Your Own Front Yard By: Kristin Schell This beautiful book is welcoming and relaxing cover with bluish brown shades of the table to invite you to open the book and welcome you into the pages to take a journey on knowing how to connect with your neighbors and maybe make new friends along the way. Kristin wanted to be able to connect with people. She didn’t know how to go about how to doing it. Kristin went to a conference in her home town of Austin, Texas. There were several Speakers but when the lights shown on Jo Saxton she had a British accent, she delivered a line that changed everything. As Kristin listened, Kristin finally asked God “I can’t be what I can’t see, so show me!” The answer came at an unexpected place. Kristin started to feel like she had purposes for her life now as her heart started to change. There are recipes for your gathering with neighbors; she gives good ideas of different things to do throughout this beautiful book. The stories she tells throughout this book are really worth buying this book just for the stories. I recommend this book highly. I put the ISBN No. so it is easier for you to tell a worker at the store and they can help you locate books faster. I received this beautiful book free from Booklookblogger for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review just an honest one. The opinions I have expressed are entirely my own and no one else’s. 5 Stars ISBN 978-0-7180-9558-1
