Reclaiming the Lost Art of Biblical Meditation Find True Peace in Jesus By: Robert J. Morgan I love the cover of this beautiful book. What is nice is that the picture isn’t on a paper cover that when you lose it or rip it the picture of the beautiful cover is gone forever and all you have is the color of the book showing. The cover has a very nice peaceful feel to it. Meditation it’s self isn’t new, and it is not a new age. People have been meditating for years. If you truly want to get closer to The Lord then use what God’s people did in BC and meditate on God’s words. Read a sentence or more and meditate on the words you just read. Before you start the book pray about it, give God the glory and thank Him for His words of wisdom. Remember the people that were closest to God like the Psalmist pictured those who meditated day and night as fruitful. Virgin Mary treasured God’s word thought about them and placed them in her heart. Isaac went into the fields to meditate. Apostle Paul told us to meditate on truth, gracious and noble. Take sticky notes and write verses on them and stick them to a mirror, a wall, in your car or find a room that can be your very own where no one will enter without you. If you meditate better outside, by the water or in the woods, where ever you feel closest to God. Look at it this way—if you want to change your life, then you have to change your mind and get the colluder out of your mind first. Start with a fresh, mind that God has renewed. No matter where you go you take God with you. You may even turn them into prayer, songs or a hymn. See what works for you. Throughout this beautiful book you’ll see how people, Psalmist, and even Jesus felt about God’s word. Our body craves physical food, while your spirit craves Spiritual food. This book is a must have to go back to and refresh your memory on how to go back to the old ways of the Bible of learning, meditating, and keeping God’s word planted in your heart. This will be a book that I will have nearby to read again to keep in mind that way that Jesus felt about Gods word. I received this beautiful book free from Book look blogger for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review just an honest one. The opinions that I have expressed are entirely my own and no one else’s. 5 Stars ISBN 978-0-71808337-3
