True Faith and Allegiance A Story of Service And Sacrifice In War and Peace By: Alberto R. Gonzales The cover is really nice I like President Bush. Looks like serious stuff that President Bush and Mr. Gonzales are talking about. This book starts off with 9/11 the saddest days in American History! One day we will never forget because so many lives were lost needlessly, so many families lost loved ones, friends and co workers. The plane 93 that took over the terrorist that would have killed a lot more, instead they saved so many lives on American soil but by their bravery it cost them dearly, their own lives, how can they not be called heroes?????? Could you have done that? Me I’d say I’d have to wait until the time came why because you can talk a brave talk but can you walk the brave walk when it is time?? The Pentagon now on fire by fight 77 again more lives lost, sad right, yet how many of you were mad when President Bush took action and I am sure he prayed first action second. Think of this way look how safe he made your country until Obama he’s afraid (or he is one) ISIS he puts a line in the sand and keeps backing it up have you ever asked yourself why?? ISIS not only got worse and is still getting bad now all over the world including in America think about it—why in America because they know Obama won’t do anything about it!!! Call Terrorist- terrorist stop pussy footing around about the subject. Put on your thinking caps people!!!!!!! I read some peoples reviews and they said President Bush kept using excuses Well ladies and Gentleman put President Bush’s shoes on and see how you’d react on in a split second something that important that need dealt with yesterday not a month from now what call would you have made to keep American people safe or could you think that fast to do anything at all? I don’t agree with everything President Bush does like now not supporting his own Republican Party shame on him!!! I loved this book I don’t think they are making excuses I think they had split seconds to do something about a very deadly situation. I recommend this book highly. I received this book free for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review just an honest one. The opinions I have expressed are entirely my own and no one else’s. 5 Stars ISBN 978-07180-7887-4

Shaken Discovering your true Identity In The Mist of Life’s Storms By: Tim Tebow I love the cover of this book. What a handsome young man Mr. Tebow is. I first saw Tim playing for the Gators, what I saw was not the game but a very humble young man on his knees praying to God in front of the whole crowed before the game. That right caught my eyes and I had to know who this brave young humble man was so unlike the rude Michael Vice and a lot of the other players, Tim stood out he by far is a better player than Michael Vice could ever be. Sad that most people that own football teams want the rude, crude men like Michael Vice that doesn’t have a decent bone in his body. As I watched the game or should I say Tim Tebow I knew I wanted to know more about him. I have a few books by Tim Tebow and I knew I had to have this book too. I was not at all disappointed. I knew he was a very humble young man and felt he grew up in a Christian home and he did grow up with Christian parents. He is a young man that a lot of younger kids could use as a role model and say I’d like to be like him. In his wonderful book you’ll travel along the road of faith, disappointments, intense media scrutiny and still Tim Tebow stayed faithful and stayed obedient to the only one he knew could get him through all the storms in his life and that my friends was The Lord of Lords, King of Kings. Tim’s heart aches and his sadness only brought him closer and more humble to the Lord. Some of the stories will have you in tears some will have you laughing but most of all it is a story I feel of Tim’s faith through it all the good, the bad and the ugly. If you’re a Tim Tebow fan or even if you are not, this book will inspire you. I recommend it highly. I received this book free from blogging for books for an honest review. Watch Your Mouth By: Tony Evans Understanding the Power of the Tongue I saw this book and just knew it was for me, because even as Christians we need to watch our mouths even closer than others do because we set the example for people. We all know sometimes we say something that doesn’t quite come out the way you mean it to or it comes out sounding rude, hateful and even just downright mean. That is not the Christian way we know that. How can we as Christians bring people to Jesus if we don’t show them love, understanding and yes even forgiveness and forgiveness as we know is what Jesus said “If you want forgiveness you have to first forgive”. I love what it said about wisdom—it can be defined as the skill of accurately applying spiritual truths to life’s various situations. Wisdom and foolishness are often contrast with each other in the Bible one of the ways this shows up is in our speech, especially in the book of Proverbs here is an example: The tongue of the wise makes knowledge attractive, but the mouth of a fool blurts out foolishness” (15:2). The chapter on “Wisdom In Your Words” Was by far my favorite chapter in this book. It brought to light just how strong the words you use can give life or death. You will have to stop to think what you say before you say anything, but if you’re like me, I don’t usually do that because the first thing comes to my mind when someone hurts me is the first thing that comes out of my mouth.  The introduction to this book is very powerful- can you imagine a meal of smothered tongue? Well I can’t! The philosopher goes on to explain. As you read the philosophers message you will learn a valuable lesson right there that will surely make you stop to think before you speak. I learned that my tongue caused a lot of hurt someone or damaged them in a way that I wondered if it could ever be fixed. I then remembered times I praised someone or prayed then I realized I can’t use my tongue both ways. If I come with a fork tongue (good Indian saying) then I have to ask for repentance first (Deuteronomy 30:19). I love this book I highly recommend this book for everyone but especially the ones who need work on their tongue like me. This book will be reread a lot. I received this book free for an honest review from Harvest House. I was not required to write a positive review just an honest one. The opinions are entirely my own and no one else’s. 5 Stars ISBN 978-0-7369-6060-1
