The cover is very interesting and if you look at it, see if it tells you a story all its own, it did me but again I love to look at covers and see what kind of story it has hidden among its colorful picture and words. It starts to tell me an ancient story of long ago with its architectural building of that century, the pillars of certain stones and design, the layout of the building and land, the stones that lead to the building. It’s almost saying there are hardly any trees here. It looks as if this building is old and crumbling with the weather, and the aged from years gone by. Who lived here or was it a place of worship. The clouds hanging low look like they are dusty, like a sand storm came through, the higher clouds are white and fluffy above that is blue sky and sun behind them, what mystery does this cover hold? I love to figure out the story that the cover may hold in the authors mind as the pages of the book starts to take on a story of its own.

You may know Mr. Jenkins from the Left Behind Series. Wow that Series even though it was Fictional had me wanting to know Jesus and leave my old life behind.

Who was Paul (Saul was his name when he killed the Jews)? Where did he come from? What made him so great? What was Paul like before he started to slaughter Jews; was he always this hateful? Paul is a giant in the Biblical New Testament yet details of his life is a mystery. Did god do that for a reason?  Well Mr.  Jenkins wants you to know his story. Although little is really known about Paul (Saul) Mr. Jenkins has tried to put his knowledge of what the New Testament says and what it doesn’t say. He is a master of putting peoples history together like no one else can.

As we follow the story Mr. Jenkins lays out in front of us we find Apostle Paul was a man that loved the thrill of killing Jews and excited when he found and killed them. He was good at his job and people feared him. Then one day something happened and Paul became the hunted not the hunter. He no longer killed the Jews but became their leader. Paul’s passion was to bring people to Jesus and he told the people of the Messiah loud and clear. Now the hunt was on to bring in and kill Paul.

This book is powerful and shows how God can work in any ones heart and change it. I recommend this book highly. It truly is a must read. If you are a fan of Jerry B. Jenkins then this book is for you.

I received this book free from Worthy Publishing for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review just an honest one. The opinions I have expressed are entirely my own and one else’s.
