                                                    THE PRINTER AND THE PREACHER
                                                                      Randy Petersen
The cover is awesome. I really love it. It tells a story all it’s own if you listen to it. Before you start to read just look at the cover of this beautiful book and see what it says to you.
Ben Franklin, George Whitefield, and the surprising friendship that invented America. This really is an amazing story of two men that lived far from each other but formed a friendship unlike any other. These two people shaped America more then anyone in the mid-1700’s.
What we take for granted every day the Colonial people had to learn. We still take these same things for granted today, but they are slowly being taken from us, if we don’t watch out and start trying to protect it we will loose what they worked so hard to fight for and give to us.
As you take a journey with these men you will see how Ben Franklin and George Whitefield lives are woven together to make America one of the best Nations to live in. As you see their friendship, their philosophies different and that their lives were not similar at all start to unfold before your eyes, They became fast friends and stood up for each other and by each other. Unlike new where our government tries to find dirt on everyone sad!!!!!!!
One built our nation spiritual foundation and the other built our nations Social foundation. We were blessed our nation was born.
As you read this book ask yourself why are we not fighting for what they fought so hard to preserve for us???
I recommend this book highly!!! It is a must read.
Enjoy your Nation
