As you open the pages of this lovely little book to take a peek into the life’s of the Amish people. This is a story full of love, family, hope as well as how the Amish feel about life and the love of peace all rolled into one little story!!
You’ll also learn a little about the World War ll and the area of the Depression and what it was like to go through some really tough times in America and how families dealt with life and how they got through it.

As you walk into the Amish kitchen you can smell the fresh home made pies, bread being baked and the lentil soup on the stove yum yum. The simple life of the peaceful Amish but they worked hard.

Rose finds out she was not born Amish to the family that loved, fed and raised her just as if she was one of their very own. She finds out she is English but what will she do  with this knowledge that she is faced with now!!!!!! Will she stay living the simple and peaceful life of the Amish and marry the man she loved or will she leave all who loved her and cared for her and go to find her life among the English that may not even except her?

How will her family handle her decision if she decides to go live in the English world all the things that they don’t believe in and she never grew up learning the English ways. Well she be able to handle life out side of all she knew. All she felt for so many years?

I recommend this book highly. I loved it. A wonderful Christmas gift for the Amish lovers.
