IF YOU WILL ASK
This is a small powerful book on prayer, it is really good — Mr Chambers says” If we say Your Will Be done.”
we get tremendous consolation of know that our Farther is working everything according to his own wisdom. Isn’t that powerful words to know?
The things that we are going through will either make us sweeter, better, nobler men and women, or they are making us more captious, more insistent on our own way. John 17:22 “that they may be one must as we are one.” Then ask yourself “am I as close to Jesus as that?” Are you??
Jesus was not exempt from being tempted by the devil. Remember the 40 days that Jesus spent in the desert with out eating so he could bet the Devil at the devils own game. Jesus knew what to say to the Devil as can know if we read the Bible it is all there.
Praying In the Holy spirit–praying always with all the prayer and supplication in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18). Through out this beautiful little jewel you will read powerful reasons why you should pray and like the title says “If you will just ask.” Do you realize the meaning of praying a prayer to God, it is so that we may know God. If we don’t have the life of God in us Oswald shows what we’re missing. Oswald talks about the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.
God always answers prayers you just might not get the answer you want, but don’t fret God knows what’s best for us and that is a lesson we have to learn not one we may want to learn but a good lesson non the less.
If you love to pray then this is a great little book of only 117 pages that will help you understand prayers and the Holy Spirit and what it means for you to know them.
This book is really beautiful and very nicely written. HAPPY PRAYING and may God show you the meaning of his love as you pray and get to know God.
I give this book a 5 star.
I received this beautiful book free from Discovery House for an honest review. I was not obligated to write a positive review just an honest one. The opinions I have expressed are my own and no one else’s.
